Practice by Bob Madsen
Carve this in solid rock for future reference. Practice is succeeding repeatedly. It is NOT just hitting balls. It is not aimless or only hopeful. It is not chasing geese. Practice involves sturdy stubborn commitment over a period of time. Hours. Days. Months perhaps. Even years.
Do not fall prey to the quick fix which sounds like this, “Try this, try that”. Scatterbrainedness is your enemy. Quiet diligence your best friend - to the point of monotony. Practice is doing . It is repeated success. It is repetition after repetition. The same thing over and over and over again. Like a piano lesson or guitar. “Boring”, you say? You know what I say? “Good.” The skill you are after is on the OTHER side of the boredom.
Come. Take a lesson and learn what it is like to improve once and for through real practice.
