New York State of Mind…

NY Jets must prepare for LT & the Super Chargers!
Well, the New York Jets have finally done it and now that 1st playoff win takes them down south to America’s Finest City to take on the San Diego Super Chargers who had a first round bye. I’m sure with the weather of late, San Diego will be infested with New York Jet fans so they can enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve been having (about 72 degrees as I post this).
With great weather, comes “golf”, and with New York fans coming to San Diego in January comes the “need to golf”. We’ve been getting calls as soon as one hour after the Cincinatti Bengals lost to the Jets from fans looking to book their tee times. Most of the early rounds on Sunday have been filling up, but with booking 20 courses in San Diego, we’re bound to find something that fits your bill. Check for the earliest Sunday morning tee times at San Diego’s finest championship golf courses here.
If you plan on coming this week and make a vacation out of it, there are plenty of available times around the city at the finest championship golf courses San Diego has to offer. Friday and Saturday especially may be the perfect fit for the New Yorker who wants to relax in paradise before the anxious game rips out their heart (All but one of us here in the office are Charger fans, the other a Dallas Cowboy fan - no comment).
As much as we want the Charger’s to win, we’re golf enthusiasts and extremely customer friendly. We may not chant J…E…T…S…, but we’ll help you figure out the best course for your budget, your game, and the distance you are willing to travel. Check out our list of courses. We’re a free service so give us a call and get your round of golf booked TODAY!

Some courses we’d recommend:
- YOU WANT TO PLAY THE BEST: Maderas
- YOU WANT VALUE: Steele Canyon
- YOU WANT SOMETHING CLOSE: Riverwalk
- YOU WANT SOMETHING INEXPENSIVE: Eagle Crest
- OTHER MENTIONABLES: Carmel Mtn. Ranch, Twin Oaks, Rancho Bernardo Inn, Carlton Oaks, or Temecula Creek Inn

FYI: Torrey Pines Golf Course is not available to non-residents who want a reservation. Torrey Pines Golf Course will be open however, but one a walk-on basis only. The 2010 San Diego Open (formerly Buick Invitational) will be played January 25-31 (Torrey Pines closes to the public on 1/18/10).
