#1 Best Value in Las Vegas

#4 Player Friendly Golf Club in Las Vegas

Played on 7/30/2006. Layout was nice and the conditions were good. Fairways cut tight and rough was short - would almost prefer to be on the rough. Greens were good and fast & the staff was nice. All in all; I thought that this was a good value.

Played in July. Layout was challenging, played from the back tees (7,000 yds) to get most real estate for my money. The course layout has varied terrain with lots of trouble (sand and water), but each hole is well thought out with many interesting opportunities for scoring. The fairways were in great shape as well as the greens. Expected the bunkers to be softer sand, but once you get the feel its OK. Scenery with Mandalay Bay in background in the midst of the tall palm trees on the course was beautiful. For a course that is only eight years old, the landscape plays like an older, more mature course. The staff was great, treated us like high-rollers. The desert heat at 100+ degrees felt very hot, but there was a pretty constant breeze which made it tolerable. The noise from the jet airliners constantly flying overhead is difficult to get used to, particularly when your on the green trying to concentrate on putting. This trip was my first experience with golf in Ve gas and courses like Bali Hai will bring me and my wife coming back for more!

Not only is Bali Hai Golf Club one of the Vegas area's best upscale courses, the location on the south end of the Strip in the shadows of Mandalay Bay and across the street from McCarran International Airport is unbeatable. It's the Strip's only golf course open to the public. A tad pricey, but it's an excellent course and it's very convenient.

This worked out great. I needed a course close to the strip and this one worked out perfectly. It wasn't out of the way and worked out great for my trip.

Rio Secco

Post a Review Book a tee time

I was a little late after a long night on the strip but the staff was completely accommodating. They still allowed me to grab a bite and warm up. Got on the course and the conditions are second to none. Greens rolled true all day. Fairways were in great shape, no bare spots to be seen. Rough was short and not too punishing. Views are awesome!Would play again in a heartbeat. When in Vegas, open up the wallet and drop some cash on the course. It beats leaving it on the tables. If you decide to let the cash flow a little, the Rio Secco is absolutely worth it.

WHAT A TREAT !!! Very unique course, really different than the usual nice expensive track in Vegas. Had the pleasure of playing during a rare storm, so overcast, gray and windy as hell, so I think I had the added bonus of playing "real" British Open conditions. Flags bending in the wind. 150 yard drives and 160 yard sand wedges were the norm. What a blast. Good yardage book with tips and history of each hole. Lipped out my birdie on the Postage Stamp hole after laying a 7 iron out about 25 yards right of green and letting mother nature guide the old Bridgestone B330 back to the pin. Staff is awesome as MAPQUEST gave me directions to the opposite side of Vegas. Staff talked me in on my cell and got me right out after a cold beer and a pep talk about the weather. If you are in Vegas go play it. Take lots of pictures and have a cold one in the pub afterwards. This is a don't miss experience.

Played 7-26 afternoon. The fairways were in great shape, greens ok but not as nice as the rest of the course. We are going to try to play again next time. Played in about 3 hours which was nice! Course played fair and not too difficult.
