TaylorMade Performance Labs Custom Golf Club Fittings

TaylorMade Performance Labs offers "Golf's Ultimate Fitting Experience", which, until recently, was only available to TaylorMade touring pros. This custom fitting and swing analysis process can build a club to match your individual swing characteristics, allowing you to hit the ball longer and straighter with better control. The two hour session is conducted in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and includes analysis for driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putter.

Located at the Four Seasons Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California & The Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Desert, California, these state-of-the-art facilities employ the same motion capture technology used to make the Tiger Woods video game and movies such as Spiderman and King Kong. The packages may also include a full set of custom -made TaylorMade clubs, a personalized staff bag, overnight stays, tee times, and more..

The Fitting. The player and the clubs are outfitted with 34 reflective sensors which measure clubhead speed, hand speed, center of gravity movement, angles of attack, swing planes, club face angles, shaft deflection and torque, among other things. The data is collected by nine high speed cameras and the system converts the data onto a three-dimensional image of the golfer which can be viewed in real time, slow motion or stop action and from any angle.

Our specially-trained fitting professional then analyzes the swing with the player to help him understand the dynamics of their individual swing. Using proprietary algorithms, the computer recommends the 14 TaylorMade clubs which would be best suited to optimize the players' potential. The player then has the chance to hit the actual recommended clubs to confirm the improved performance.
