TaylorMade Performance Labs offers "Golf's Ultimate Fitting Experience", which, until recently, was only available to TaylorMade touring pros. Located at the Four Seasons Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California, this state-of-the-art facility employs the same motion capture technology used to make the Tiger Woods video game and movies such as Spiderman and King Kong. The packages may also include a full set of custom -made TaylorMade clubs, a personalized staff bag, three nights at the Four Seasons resort, two tee times at the Aviara Golf Club, and two days of instruction at the Aviara Golf Academy.

The Fitting. The player and the clubs are outfitted with 34 reflective sensors which measure clubhead speed, hand speed, center of gravity movement, angles of attack, swing planes, club face angles, shaft deflection and torque, among other things. The data is collected by nine high speed cameras and the system converts the data onto a three-dimensional image of the golfer which can be viewed in real time, slow motion or stop action and from any angle.

Our specially-trained fitting professional then analyzes the swing with the player to help him understand the dynamics of their individual swing. Using proprietary algorithms, the computer recommends the 14 TaylorMade clubs which would be best suited to optimize the players' potential. The player then has the chance to hit the actual recommended clubs to confirm the improved performance.

The Custom Clubs & Personalized TaylorMade Tour Bag Delivered. New custom TaylorMade clubs built to recommended specifications will be ready to be shipped directly to the player in as little as 48 hours. Included in the package is a TaylorMade Tour Staff bag, embroidered with the player's name and/or the company logo.
